Job Title:
Production and Development In-charge
Job Responsibility:
- Planning, managing and overseeing all production in workshop and site activities/projects.
- Cost analysis for proposals, engineering drawing, and BOQ preparation.
- Meeting with clients for technical presentation and business development.
- Maximize productivity of machinery and workers and implement cost-reductive changes.
- Design and implement customers need as per their concepts.
- Develop creative ideas to enhance business growth and marketing strategies.
- Obtaining any materials and equipment required.
- Train, supervise, and manage production line workers to increase speed and efficiency of processes without compromising quality.
- Accountable for quality, design, client satisfaction, and new inventions for business development.
- Liaising with marketing team to develop plans that improve business expansion.
- Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services.
- Any obligation/task by the line manager from time to time.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or similar.
- At least three years' experience as production and development in-charge.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing process, marketing strategies, and networks.
- Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
Experience Requirement:
The major part of Production and Development In-charge will be, to oversee manufacturing processes and business development. He will be responsible for supervising staff, training of workers, identifying problems in the production, business development and completing various administrative tasks.
Additional Requirement:
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools for engineering design and project management (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Willingness to travel for on-site project management and client meetings.
- Fluency in English and Urdu, both written and spoken.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Proven track record of successful project completion and client satisfaction.
Other Benefit
- Basic salary of 25k, including a 3k food allowance.
- Three-month probationary period to evaluate performance.
- Working hours: 9 am to 6 pm.
